Heating Oil Supplier: FAQ

When should I order oil?

We recommend ordering when your tank reaches ¼ full. This leaves you approximately 50-75 gallons of oil without risking running out. With an average residential size tank, you will be able to take 150-200 gallon deliveries without a problem. See our Tank Chart for more details.

What is your minimum delivery?

Our minimum order for heating oil is 100 gallons. If you order 150 gallons or more, we offer a discount. For more than 500 gallons, please either email or call us 609-394-5078 (NJ) or 215-736-3001 (PA) for pricing. Click Here for pricing

Do I need to sign a contract?

No. We specialize in Will Call delivery. We come to you when you order. We have a long term relationship with most of our customers. There is no contract, additional obligation or automatic delivery.

How can I pay for my order?

All deliveries are COD. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, debit cards and cash. In order to give you the best discount on our premium fuel possible and to keep costs low we take payment at the time of ordering or delivery. Learn more about How to Buy Heating Oil Online.

Do you take energy assistance checks?

Yes! Most energy checks are only good for 90 days. Be sure to send in the check as soon as you receive it or give it to the driver if you are scheduling an immediate delivery. Checks can only be used and must be signed by the individual payee on the check. Contact us with any questions by phone 609-394-5078 (NJ) or 215-736-3001 (PA) or email.

When will I receive my delivery?

We schedule one day in advance. During the winter months (October – March), our goal is to deliver within 24 hours – weather and demand permitting. Friday, Saturday and Sunday orders will be delivered on Monday. We only deliver on Saturdays in extremely cold, emergency situations. Remember to place your order when you have a ¼ of a tank left!

Can I get an emergency delivery?

If you run out of oil please call us 609-394-5078 (NJ) or 215-736-3001 (PA). We will attempt to do a same day delivery if possible.

If the price goes up before I receive my delivery, do I pay the higher price?

No. We honor the price we promised when you order!

Do I have to be home for a delivery?

For a first time delivery, you must be home as the driver needs to have access to visually see the tank. From then on, you only need to be home for cash deliveries. Most customers pay by credit card online, or by calling the office 609-394-5078 (NJ) or 215-736-3001 (PA). This way you do not need to be home for a delivery.

When will my oil be delivered?

Our delivery times are generally between 9am and 3pm. We are unable to give specific delivery times in advance. If you’re waiting for a delivery, we can arrange for the driver to call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving.

What are your hours?

We deliver all year round! We operate 6 days a week in the winter time. The office is open Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm. We are closed on Sundays. In the summer time we are closed on the weekend but open all week long. If we are very busy the office will stay open while drivers are still on the road.

What if my tank will not take all the gallons I ordered?

We have you covered. The driver knows when a tank is filled. You only pay for the number of gallons you actually receive. We will credit your account for the amount of money left over. If you are home you can pay us the exact amount. If you paid by credit card we will adjust the amount to the gallons delivered.

What is required for my residential tank?

You should be sure to have your tank continually serviced to ensure the tank meets all regulations, some of which include a working vent alarm and a working tank gauge. Our drivers will not deliver to a tank without a working vent alarm.
